The Asia-Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society will embark on a new webinar series focusing on how artificial intelligence transforms clinical practice. Chaired by Drs Mingguang He and Paisan Ruamviboonsuk, the next webinar will feature Emma Beede and Richa Tiwari from Google Health. They will share with us findings in their paper “A Human-Centered Evaluation of Deep Learning for Diabetic Retinopathy.” As a UX researcher, Emma specializes in uncovering insights that inform strategy and inspire exceptional user experiences. Richa is Program Manager with Google Health, working on Healthcare AI in the Asia Pacific region to transform access to and make an impact in healthcare through the application of machine learning products, especially in resource poor settings.
