Objectifs d’apprentissage:

  1. Comprendre la façon dont la SCO plaide en faveur de changements politiques au niveau gouvernemental afin d’améliorer la qualité des soins oculaires et leur accessibilité.
  2. Être en mesure de décrire de quelle façon la SCO collabore avec ses partenaires de Santé Canada pour analyser les causes et conséquences des pénuries de médicaments ophtalmiques et élaborer des stratégies visant à atténuer leur impact sur les soins aux patients.
  3. En savoir plus sur les applications actuelles et éventuelles de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) en ophtalmologie et leur impact potentiel sur les soins aux patients et la prise de décisions.
  4. Mieux connaître l’impact environnemental des pratiques et dispositifs ophtalmologiques et les stratégies visant à promouvoir la durabilité dans l’exercice de l’ophtalmologie.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the presentation, diagnosis, and management of these cases.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Illustrate the importance of recognizing the unusual presentation of conjunctival tumours and interpreting Pathology results in light of the clinical findings
  2. Understand the role of additional tissue sections in Ocular Pathology and including precise clinical information on the surgical pathology requisition to ensure optimal pathologic evaluation
  3. Provide adequate tissue samples that are truly representative of the lesion in question.
