Participants will be equipped with skills that ensure clearer communication between healthcare colleagues, reduce risk and lead to improved patient safety. The program was developed in partnership with the CMPA, this program leverages the CMPA\u2019s breadth of knowledge and understanding of physicians\u2019 needs and healthcare safety issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Topics Covered<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Team communication in the context of safe patient care<\/li><li>The concept of psychological safety allowing team members to raise concerns<\/li><li>Active listening and assertive communication skills<\/li><li>Situational awareness<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven hours.
