{"id":21741,"date":"2021-10-06T08:47:45","date_gmt":"2021-10-06T12:47:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cosprc.ca\/?p=21741"},"modified":"2021-10-12T11:33:06","modified_gmt":"2021-10-12T15:33:06","slug":"section-3-module-glaucoma-2021-back-to-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cosprc.ca\/fr\/section-3-module-glaucoma-2021-back-to-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Section 3 Module \u2013 Glaucoma 2021: Back to the Future"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>COS is pleased to provide ophthalmologists with this 90-minute accredited on-demand learning activity featuring content from a co-developed symposia that was presented during the 2021 COS Annual Meeting: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cos2021symposium.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.cos2021symposium.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learning Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of this module, participants will be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Recognize the importance of setting IOP targets in patients with glaucoma<\/li><li>Explain how to monitor progression through VF, OCT changes and other tools<\/li><li>Identify adherence issues in patients and when to refer patients for surgical interventions<\/li><li>Discuss the timing and order of surgical strategies, including considerations for post-surgical medical management<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This module was co-developed by the Canadian Ophthalmological Society and Allergan, an AbbVie Company and was planned to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity, and balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Ophthalmological Society.
