Registrants of the ASCRS and ASOA programs may attend both programs but must register in their designated category specific to their credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Target Audience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This annual meeting has been designed for anterior segment surgeons, practice managers, ophthalmic technicians and nurses and support staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ASCRS Subspecialty Days include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"http:\/\/ascrsrefractiveday.org\/ascrsrefractiveday\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASCRS Refractive Day<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/ascrsglaucomaday.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASCRS Glaucoma Day<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/corneaday.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cornea Day<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learning Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ophthalmologists attending the ASCRS Annual Meeting will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Incorporate the latest developments for the management of multiple ocular conditions within the various ophthalmic specialties<\/li><li>Incorporate current and advanced treatment strategies for ocular conditions, including anterior segment and refractive surgery, glaucoma and retinal conditions<\/li><li>Develop appropriate treatment plans to address complicating factors pre-, peri- and post-operatively<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CPD Credits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery designates the ASCRS and ASOA programs within this live educational activity for a maximum of&nbsp;<em>38 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits\u2122.<\/em>&nbsp;Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Physicians can claim CME credit up to the maximum listed above for attending the Physicians Program (ASCRS), including scientific films and posters on-demand, scientific papers, courses, symposia and general sessions), the Practice Management (ASOA) Program, or a combination thereof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Access Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>For more information, please visit the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/annualmeeting.ascrs.org\/about-meeting#about-the-meeting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASCRS and ASOA website<\/a><\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette ressource n\u2019existe qu\u2019en anglais.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ASCRS and ASOA Annual Meeting on May 3 \u2013 7, 2019 in San Diego, California will provide high-quality education for anterior segment physicians, practice managers, ophthalmic technicians and nurses and support staff.
