About the PRC

Providing a comprehensive online resource for Canadian ophthalmologists, residents and medical students

The Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS) Practice Resource Centre (PRC) is an online space that provides ophthalmologists, residents, and medical students with a variety of online educational resources. The PRC aims to provide members with access to an online hub of tools and resources related to the ophthalmologist’s practice, including Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities and events, accredited and unaccredited activities, position statements, and uniquely Canadian content.

PRC COMMITTEE

The Practice Resource Centre (PRC) Committee is responsible for overseeing the operation of the PRC Website, which aims to provide COS members with access to an online hub of tools and resources, activities and events related to the ophthalmologist’s practice. The Committee comprises of five (5) members.

GET INVOLVED

Any COS member can apply for PRC/ COS committee positions as they open. Committee members must be active members of the COS and are selected by the Chair, Practice Resource Centre, based on knowledge, need, professional considerations, and demographics (e.g., location in Canada).
