Théa TROPHY Contest 2026–2027

The Théa inteRnational cOntest of clinical cases in PatHologies of the eYe (TROPHY) invites ophthalmology residents and fellows to submit an original, unpublished clinical case related to this year’s topic:

Immunomodulation of ocular surface inflammation

The contest is designed to help residents and fellows develop their clinical case presentation and communication skills. Submissions must be anonymous, written in English and based on a case in which the applicant was involved.

Key dates

• Submission deadline: October 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. UTC
• Winner announcements: February 2027
• ARVO award ceremony and case presentations: May 2027
• EVER award ceremony: October 2027

The three international winners will be invited to present their cases during the Théa symposium at the ARVO 2027 Annual Meeting, with registration, travel and accommodation expenses covered by Théa.
