This module was co-developed by the Canadian Cataract Institute and the Canadian Ophthalmological Society to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance. Through this online module participants will review video and respond to a set of reflective questions related to each case.
In this program, participants will be asked to review 6 cases (1 case is optional):
- Small Pupil Hemi Flip
- CTSx2 Severe Dislocation
- CTS Capsule Polish PCCC Technique
- IOLExcha PCCC POBH
- Sulcus Fixation
- CTR, Iris Cerclage (optional)
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Visualize best practices in cataract surgery
- Apply intraoperative best practices in complex cataract surgeries to patients in their own practice
