
The Canadian Neuro-ophthalmology Virtual Review Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This neuro-ophthalmology review course is a two-day high yield course that is targeted for senior residents in Ophthalmology and Neurology. This review course is based on the American Academy of Ophthalmology- Neuro-ophthalmology review manual.
This course should be a good preparation for the royal college exam, and importantly the resident will remember these approaches when he/she becomes an independent practitioner no matter what specialty they wish to choose.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate competence and confidence in their approach to neuro-ophthalmic disease including history, exam, investigations, and management.
- Demonstrate the proper tools for approaches (including history and physical exam) to different cases in ophthalmology, list a differential diagnosis, identify the appropriate investigations, and demonstrate proper cost-effective management.
